The overall aim of the Adolescent Medicine Task Force is to develop an inter-disciplinary model of care for the management of adolescent patients within HMC. Plans are being developed for an outpatient program, inpatient consultation service and potentially work on how young people are transitioned from pediatric to adult programs. A team from Toronto, led by Dr. Miriam Kaufman, will be visiting Doha in April 2013 to support our clinical team which is led by Dr. Madeeha Kamal, Senior Consultant in Pediatrics and supported by Dr. Ahmed Al Hammadi, Head of General Pediatrics.
